Fun paint party ideas for kids

Each canvas is pre-drawn for kids that are younger in age. For kids 13 and up they can usually handle drawing unless it is complicated. We can discuss what’s best for your party. Table set up has changed from these photos due to studio reconfiguration.


Kids Parties (Regular)

Is your kid celebrating a birthday, graduation or an awesome report card? Does your kid love art and painting? Then we have a fun paint party for you! These parties are designed for any kid, tween, teen of 4 years old and up. What’s included?

  • Regular Party includes:
  • 2 hours in the studio
  • Birthday child chooses the painting. Each kid will take away an 11×14 canvas!
  • Personalized Portrait of the birthday boy or girl that’s pre-drawn and painted in by their friends for an additional $10 (optional)-this will be painted by taking turns.
  • We just remodeled the studio, so no decorations or balloons please.
  • Cupcakes allowed at the end of the party. No other food please. Individual drinks ok.
  • $475 for up to 12 kids including birthday child ($35 for each additional child). 20 kids maximum.
  • If custom painting is requested. $40 custom painting fee will be added
  • But how does it work? Our capacity has been greatly reduced and is limited to each painter plus 1 parent/guardian only. Upon entry, kids will be given a seat and adults will watch from the “adult side” of the studio. Kids will follow the instructor in creating a masterpiece of their own. At the end, after the group photo, kids can sing happy birthday and cupcakes can be passed out.
  • Want more time to party? Extra half hour is $50 and extra 1 hour is $100 (if available)
  • Only painters plus 1 parent/guardian are allowed in the studio during parties. Parents must stay on the “adult side” of the studio only. No (non-painting) siblings, extra kids, or adults allowed. (The playroom has been completely removed from the studio)

  • Please email/call if anyone has a latex allergy. We will make special arrangements for them.

GLOW IN THE DARK PARTIES

  • For ages 6+ with a maximum of 18 kids
  • Pricing starts at $575 for the first 12 painters and $35 each additional painter.
  • All other information is the same as above (except for the base pricing)
  • Please note, the entire studio has black lights and non-toxic UV sensitive acrylic paint is used (in order to get the glowing effect).
  • Please let all guests know that the studio will be “dark” for majority of the party to make sure you don’t have any children that will be scared. Lights will be on for check-in, group photos, and cupcakes during the event.
  • There is no bartender included in these parties. If you would like to offer your guests drinks, an additional staff member can be added for $100. (You must let us know at the time of booking-not on the day of the party).

  • The guest of honor gets to select a painting of his/her choice from our GALLERY. We offer canvas paintings, taped canvas painting, wood signs, ceramics, and garden slates as options for your birthday party.
  • Canvas Painting Birthday Option – $450 for the first 10 children and $20 for each additional child painting a Sketched Canvas and $30 for each additional child painting a Taped Canvas. (Children 5 and under can select any canvas from the Taped Gallery on our website. Children 6 and older can select any canvas from the Kids Gallery to be sketched for the party guests)
  • Wood Sign Birthday Option – $450 for the first 10 children and $30 for each additional child. (Recommended for children 10 and older)
  • Garden Slate Birthday Option – $450 for the first 10 children and $30 for each additional child. (Recommended for children 8 and older)
  • Ceramic Birthday Party Option – $450 for the first 10 children and $25 for each additional child. (Recommended for children 9 and older)

  • Kid parties are available on any day or night of the week as long as you reserve the date in advance and it doesn’t conflict with a previously scheduled painting session on the
  • CALENDAR.
  • Kids Parties include 2 hours on the farm. The first hour is devoted to painting. Following the painting portion, we break for food, snacks, and cake/cupcakes. The last half hour of the party is devoted to the farm tour. Many parents in the past have brought outdoor lawn games for the children or a piñata to demolish.
  • Each party ends with the farm tour to see the animals. The farm tour allows the children and all the guests to feed, brush, pet, and hold all the animals in their pens or coops. Parents and guests are more than welcome to take pictures with the children and the animals. Currently, we have cows, goats, geese, and chickens on the farm.
  • Parents of children that are 10 years and older may wish to extend the birthday party another half hour. The additional half hour would be $50 and the party would last 2.5 hours. Please mention the additional time option when booking your birthday party on the farm.
  • Recommended and suggested ages 2 – 15 years old. Children under the age of 5 would definitely benefit from a Taped Canvas option from our Taped Canvas Gallery.
  • We supply the canvas, wood, slates, ceramics, paint, brushes, easels, and aprons. We also have napkins, paper towels, and basic white paper plates.
  • Unfortunately, we DO NOT provide ice, eating and serving utensils, plastic cups, or tablecloths. We recommend 4 or 5 rectangular 6 foot tablecloths to cover the tables on the second floor of the studio.
  • Feel free to come 30 minutes ahead of time to get settled. The paint session will start promptly on time so that it allows all the little artists time to complete their masterpieces. We also need to be courteous and aware of the next scheduled paint party for the day.
  • Feel free to bring favorite snacks, treats, and drinks ahead of time. You are more than welcome to arrive 30 minutes early to unload everything and begin setting up for the party. We just ask for notice ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly.
  • Many parents provide their own food or order out from local restaurants that will deliver right to the studio. For your convenience, we have also created a PIZZA PARTY PACKAGE that we can order for you for the desired time for delivery. The balance for the Pizza Order can be included in your final payment to Paint Party Farm. There is a $3 delivery fee, $5 tip, and tax which are INCLUDED in the final PIZZA PARTY PACKAGE amount below.
  • PIZZA PARTY PACKAGE – Three large cheese pizzas – $60 (Each additional topping is $2 extra). We recommend having the pizzas double cut into 16 slices for parties with younger guests.
  • Parents that wish to order to order additional food items for the children/adults or something instead of pizza can absolutely do so. Feel free to check out the FULL MENU for Panatieri’s Pizza and Pasta of Flemington. Or if you have questions about food allergies and ingredients they use, you can call them directly at (908) 788-3739.
  • Don’t worry, we even clean up after you are finished your masterpiece!
  • A minimum of 10 children are required for the 2 hour session but we can accommodate up to 22 guests inside the studio. Often times, parents will paint along with the children to make the 10 guest minimum requirement needed for a private party.
  • At the time you book your party, we will be requesting a $125 deposit so that your Private Party gets marked onto the CALENDAR. If you decide to cancel your party, $75 of the original booking deposit is non-refundable. When a party is booked and blocked out on our website calendar, it prevents other potential parties from being booked. The $75 non-refundable fee slightly offsets the loss of business when this happens. We appreciate your understanding in the event of this situation.
  • Final payment can be made the day of the birthday party. Parents can pay with cash, a check made payable to Paint Party Farm, credit card, or even Venmo. (@Brian-Fisher-175) Payments made by credit card will be charged a 3% transaction fee to offset the fees that we are charged.
  • Five days prior to your party, please notify us of the final number of children that will be in attendance for your private party. It will help us to best prepare and set up for your special occasion. Unfortunately, once we confirm the final number of guests and prepare the canvases for the party, you will be responsible for paying for that final number of attendees. (You are more than welcome to take the prepared canvases for the guests that did not show up or may have become ill.) Thank you!
  • Paint Party Farm also travels OFF SITE for birthday parties at your home. For a $50 off site travel fee, we can bring all the fun to your home!
  • Parents are also welcome to purchase our Party Kits On the Go. Many parents have ordered our 16 x 20 sketched or taped canvases, sealed paint cups, and brushes for birthday parties at home, summer vacations, or rainy days. Each sketched canvas with the sealed paint cups and brushes is $20. Each taped canvas with the sealed paint cups and brushes is $24.
