We make art fun! – Paint It Kids has been bringing art to our community for over a decade. With our simple step-by-step instructions, all young artists ages 5 & up can draw, paint and create amazing art with Paint It Kids!

Paint + Sew Classes
Paint It Kids has partnered with A Sewing Studio in Carmel for a brand new class we call Paint & Sew! Join us at A Sewing Studio to paint a fun acrylic painting on canvas AND sew a matching pillow or tote!
Meet Miss Kate
After graduating from Purdue in 2001, Kate started her career in the architecture field as an interior designer and architectural illustrator. She later attended the Masters of Arts program at the University of Indianapolis with a focus in traditional oil painting. She enjoys painting landscapes and portraits. Kate’s favorite subjects are her four children!
Kate started her Paint It! KIDS business in 2012 when her youngest son started kindergarten. She began offering painting classes for children in elementary schools and preschools in Carmel, Westfield and surrounding areas. In the spring of 2014, the Paint It! KIDS Studio opened in Zionsville where Miss Kate enjoys teaching classes, camps and birthdays!
This pottery painting class is taught step-by-step, making it a perfect choice for beginners. Pieces will be kiln fired and ready for pick up in a week- just in time to include in your Halloween decor.

This is a great introductory class for kids to get used to the feel of painting with acrylics on canvas. They’ll be guided step by step and go home with a completed work of art featuring Jack and Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Kids will learn the basics of hand building with clay- we’ll start with a slab of clay and learn how to cut, mold, and connect each piece. This class is a two-step process. Their little foxes will be left to cure, get fired in our kilns, and be ready for painting in 2-3 weeks.

This pet portrait class is the perfect opportunity to immortalize your best animal friend! Once you sign up, please email us with a picture of your cat, dog, fish, rabbit- whatever animal you’ve got- so our instructor can prep the canvas with an outline for you to work with. In class, we’ll go step-by-step and learn how to bring your pet to life on the canvas. Beginners are welcome, and this class is also great for kids who want the freedom to work in more detail.
