Family skating

Back by popular demand, the ice rink has returned to Canary Wharf, and with it comes the chance to dance the night away with themed music sessions to make the soul sing. From Poptastic evenings paying homage to 30 years of cheesy pop classics from The Pussycat Dolls and the Disney Channel kids, to a Soul Party harking back to the early days of Tamla Motown, Stax and Atlantic records, get your skates on and feel the beat before recovering with winter warmers and post-skate coolers at The Grandstand Bar.

2. Big Discounts on Black Friday

Download the Canary Wharf app to discover prizes to be won and special offers to be had. Don’t forget you can make the most of it with three hours of free parking on site at weekends and plenty of top foodie choices to refuel at lunchtime.

3. Party Planning

Russ R. Robinson (Artist “R3”) Celebrated for Dedication to the Arts

By leveraging his background in marketing and brand building, he is now able to make a living as a creator and small business owner.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 07, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Russ R. Robinson (Artist “R3”) has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A seasoned contemporary fine artist, fashion designer and brand expert with 20 years of marketing expertise, R3 endeavors to establish himself within the visual arts community while building his business, R3 Colorings (www.r3colorings.com.) Along with painting and designing fashions featuring his art, R3 will be joining the startup, MixLife, in early 2024. Mixlife’s mission is to provide a variety of arts-based curriculums to remote workers suffering from work traumas and remote work-related stress. R3 also freelances as a Paint n’ Sip Party host/instructor around the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 2019, R3 rekindled his passion for art after 20 years of neglect, through coloring books for mindfulness. By the end of a Bob Ross coloring book, he had discovered his style and felt he needed to turn his attention to creating and teaching art full time. By leveraging his background in marketing and brand building, he is now able to make a living as a creator and small business owner – doing what he loves and brightening the world with his unique “Colorings.”

Prior to embarking on his current journey, Mr. Robinson spent ten years working in client services roles for creative agencies such as Publicis, AKQA, and Y&R. For ten years after, he continued to build brands with in-house marketing teams at BlackRock, DocuSign, and UCSF Health. An expert in the field of brand marketing, Mr. Robinson earned degrees in Communications and Business from the Universities of Oregon and Washington, graduating from UW in 2000.

Since his shift to full-time artist and business owner, R3 has partnered with high-end clothing manufacturer, Le Galeriste (Montreal, Canada), designing several collections of garments featuring his artwork. In early 2023, he published a creative “hack” with UpTime.app, telling his story of “How Coloring Books for Mindfulness Changed my Life.” The story offers counsel to emerging artists seeking self-fulfillment and more creative peace of mind.

R3’s artistic achievements since rekindling his love of art, include having a painting featured at the Cannes Film Festival (2021), a solo show featuring 30 paintings in San Francisco (where he often goes to paint in public (Foreign Cinema, Mission District.) In Oct 2023, R3 was selected as one of 35 abstract artists worldwide, to showcase three paintings on the screens in Times Square. New York. Looking ahead, R3 is diving into the fashion world even more, having been invited to do his very first runway fashion show for Fashion Week SF (early 2024.)

Russ Robinson takes pride in the fact that he has found mindfulness and joy in art again. His main goal is to share this newfound passion in as many ways as possible and use his fluid pointillism style to brighten up the world – one Coloring at a time. Ultimately, Russ is on a creative mission to cement himself as an emerging talent in fine arts, while cultivating a reputation as an advocate for art therapy and mindfulness through creativity.
