Archival pigment print framed in white painted wood moulding with UV plexi. Celestial Orb, a globe by Silvestro Amanzio Monacelli, drawn in pen and painted on paper, in 1716 is found in the Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome. Cardinal Girolamo Casanate bequested his library of more than 25,000 volumes to the Dominicans of the convent of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. The Dominicans commissioned the architect A M Boroni to design the library in the cloister area of the convent. The library was inaugurated in 1701 and was one of the most important and well stocked libraries of its time. Available to special order with a lead time of approximately 3 – 4 weeks.

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, returns are accepted on eligible items for store credit only within 14 business days of the invoice date, and must be accompanied by a receipt. Credit is good for one year from date of issue. *All packaging must remain intact and must be documented for shipping insurance claims.
