All our Paint at Home Pottery is of the highest quality white, unglazed cone 04 bisque. It has been cleaned and fired once and is ready for you to paint with our high quality ceramic glazes. Do not use any other paints, pens, pencils, markers or other materials other than what you have purchased through us to decorate your pottery. Other paint and decorating products are not compatible with our high quality ceramic glazes we provide for your painting enjoyment.
NEVER COMBINE ACRYLIC PAINTS, OTHER PAINTS, SHARPIES, GLUES, OR OTHER MATERIALS WITH FIRED CERAMIC GLAZES. YOU WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR POTTERY IF YOU DO AND WE WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO REFUSE TO FIRE IT FOR SAFETY REASONS. ONLY CERAMIC GLAZES ARE MEANT TO BE FIRED IN A KILN. ART IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MISUSE OF OUR PRODUCTS.

We suggest pre-purchasing a firing fee for each pottery product you are buying so that you may easily drop off your ready to glaze and fire pottery at our studio without having to pay for firing at the time of drop off. If it’s all on the same order receipt, it makes it super easy! Pottery is then glazed, fired and generally ready in 7 days for you to pick up.
**Pottery products sold as a single set (such as salt and pepper shakers for example) only require the purchase of ONE $3 firing fee (not two), to have them glazed and fired.

We offer 2 different types of pine plywood- Yellow(Knotty) and White Pine.
Knotty Yellow pine plywood does well with staining and painting, but has knots and other natural blemishes that make it have a more rustic appearance. Manufacturing Inks and Marks may be visible on some pieces, but can be sanded off or covered with paint very easily.
White Pine products are generally very smooth and more uniform in color, but both options MAY HAVE minor random cracks, chips, knots and other NATURAL blemishes that give it character.
On either option, Wood grain appearance may vary slightly from piece to piece. Light sanding MAY be required depending on your project preference. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the wood to make everything look professional!
Please keep in mind, no wood piece is absolutely perfect, as they are handcrafted and sanded, but they are sure to be table, wall, or desk worthy!
Please note: Shapes are sized by their longest dimension in the pictured orientation. When choosing a size, the first measurement is the size. The second measurement is the thickness of the wood.
Our unfinished craft products are made to order & ready to ship within 24-36 business hours! They are crafted of a high quality cabinet grade HDF. All products are cut in-house on our CNC routers and are hand-sanded, smooth to the touch. We recommend using Dixie Belle Chalk Paint for the BEST coverage. You can also use acrylic paints on our products which can be purchased at any craft store. Most products are cut on 1/4″ HDF that is moisture resistant and suitable for the outdoors (covered porches, areas not in direct weather). We also cut an assortment of products on 1/8″ HDF, 3/8″ HDF, and/or pine.

All of our products have been thoroughly tested in the marketplace. If, however, you are not happy with any aspect of your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of the purchase date, provided it is unused and in the original packaging, with no questions asked. Shipping
New Zealand customers: We ship most products to NZ addresses by tracked Courier Post. Allow 2-6 working days for receipt of goods. Larger items may be sent direct from supplier.
International customers: Products featuring an “Available for International Delivery” icon are available to be shipped to Australia, Canada, UK and USA with NZ Parcel Post or DHL.
