Coastal Wall Art
Even when we didn’t live near the beach, we still decorated as if we were since it’s our favorite place! I love adding coastal inspired artwork around our home to evoke the serenity and joy I feel at the beach. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite coastal wall art finds to help you achieve a similar look in your own home!

Coastal Wall Art Around Our Home
We love having artwork that reminds us of the beach all around our home. Granted, I take some of it down in the fall and winter months, but I’ve found when done correctly, you can definitely even use it in your holiday decor! I’m sharing some of our favorite coastal wall art from around our home over the years, and then I’ll be sharing a bunch of new pieces I’ve found that you may also enjoy!
A few years ago, we hung this new acrylic beach art in our den. It’s no longer available but I still wanted to show this example. I love how the blues of the ocean tied into our blue board and batten wall so well.
I previously used this palm tree art in the same spot when we first did our den makeover. I loved the whitewashed herringbone wood frame I ordered along with it! It also has a great beachy vibe to it.
And prior to that, when the room was a TV room, my workout room, and craft room, I hung this ocean art above the daybed we had in the space.
Several summers ago, I used this palm leaf shadow box art in our living room and loved how it looked! I can’t wait to bring it back out again this summer!
Coastal wall art doesn’t necessarily have to be an actual photo or painting of the beach. Sometimes you can get the beachy vibes simply through the colors used in your art. This oversized abstract art we had in our prior dining room is one of my all-time favorites, and the colors still feel coastal without screaming “beach scene”.
Here is how that same piece of art looks in our current dining room, hung over our console table.
I typically prefer more abstract versions of coastal art, but I still love this affordable canvas beach scene art we had in our guest bedroom! It’s also available here in additional sizes.
It also traveled to our smaller guest bedroom last summer! Here we hung it over the bed for a slightly different look.
Another fun option is to incorporate beach photos from your personal vacations! I get mine printed cheaply at Target since I swap them out fairly regularly, but I love that once you invest in the frames, it’s cheap and easy to change them up down the road! A more recent favorite is this gorgeous Sparkling Water wall art! My mom loved it so much she also got it to hang horizontally above their bathtub!
I bought this Coastal Mist art shortly before I knew we were moving, and it was absolutely stunning. So much so, the buyers of our home also purchased it. But I’m thinking I may have to order another one for the new house because I loved it so much! There are six in the series, and ours was #2.
