What you’ll do
Textured modern floral art is the latest trend, but can be a little bit tricky to master at the start. That is why in this half day masterclass Sheri, will guide you through everything you need to know to start creating your own stunning textured flower artworks.
At the end of the course, you will have finished beautiful modern floral textured artwork and will be confident in applying techniques and skills that you have learnt, to start creating on a large scale.
You will be taken through the entire process from
Blending paints
Making the textured pasted
Designing a layout
Using tools like palette knives and brushes
Different techniques to applying and creating effects
How to seal & finish a piece
How to create all the different flower shapes with palette knifes.
How to prevent cracks when drying
Level: Suitable for beginners and intermediates.
Sheri will start the class off with a demonstration covering supplies, mixing & making the texture paste, how to use multiple palette knife and techniques to create different types of flowers. After the demonstration it’s your time to get creative and choose what ever floral design you want to make. Classes numbers are kept small and this workshop only runs ONCE every 3 months, so it is essential to book in advance!
Everyone will leave with their finished masterpiece at the end of the workshop framed artwork.
