Doodle Mason Jar Decorating
I love mason jar decorating. Not only is it a cheap and easy craft, but there are so many fun ways to get creative with mason jars crafts. The secret to mason jar decorating is really in how you prep your jars. I always use a flat primer before adding paint or designs. See below under supplies for my favorite primer.
When Artistro sent me these extra fine paint pens to test out, I knew they would be perfect for doodling a mandala on a mason jar. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how vibrant the colors were and how smoothly they flowed. I also loved that these paint markers worked beautifully on rocks. They can be applied directly to the rock or over a painted background.

MASON JAR DECORATING SUPPLIES (affiliate links are provided for your convenience):
- Mason Jar – These are slightly taller than the one I used, but perfect because they have a flat side with no writing so they are perfect for doodles and drawings.
- Spray Primer in Black – If you want to start with a different color, use a white spray primer instead and then paint over it with acrylic paint.
- Paint Pens – LOVE these multi-surface paint markers. As you can see the colors were very vibrant on top of the black.
- Sealant (optional) – I don’t typically seal my mason jars. If you want a shiny finish, I highly recommend this gloss sealant. Or for a matte finish I like this matte spray sealant.
MASON JAR DECORATING DIRECTIONS:
- With the mason jar inside down on a piece of cardboard, spray the mason jar with an even coat of black primer.
- You can slightly sketch your design with pencil or draw directly onto the jar with the paint pens.

- Leave your jar as is or finish it with a spray on sealant.

How to Draw a Jar for Kindergarten
In this lesson, I propose to draw an object of our everyday life. Here I will show you how to draw a jar for kindergarten. The picture shows an ordinary glass jar with a lid. Such a jar can be used in everyday life for various purposes. You can pour liquid into a jar or store cereals in it. Also, in such a jar, you can prepare jam or canned vegetables.
This tutorial includes a few simple steps, and any aspiring artist can easily complete this task. Each stage consists of simple lines. In order to do this lesson well, you should be able to draw straight lines. You also need to ensure that both sides of the can are symmetrical. Try to make straight lines without using a ruler or any other handy tools.
The jar is light blue, that is, the jar is empty and made of transparent glass. You can paint liquid or other contents in the jar if you like. Draw the jar in the usual way and then add content. For example, inside a jar, you can draw berries, tomatoes, cucumbers, or compote.

How to Draw a Jar for Kindergarten

Draw the body of the jar. The jar has a rectangular shape. The lower edges are slightly rounded.
Depict the neck. To do this, draw two straight lines along the sides and a horizontal line at the top.
Add details. In this step, draw the lid of the jar.
Color the drawing. Choose a blue color to color the jar.
Now you can draw a regular glass jar. These skills will come in handy when drawing still life. For example, you can draw a jar of jam on the table, and draw fruit near the jar. You can also reshape the jar and draw a wider or taller jar. Train your imagination and paint still lifes using various objects.
