In this third part of our guide on how to draw a human heart, we will be adding more of the heart outline. Simply use another curved line for the rest of the outline for the main body of the heart.
How To Draw A Human Heart – A Step by Step Guide
The heart is one of the most important organs in the body, and we quite literally couldn’t live without it!
As well as being such an important part of our bodies, it’s also quite a complex structure with many different parts and surfaces to it. Because of this, learning how to draw a human heart can be quite a difficult task to take on.
When you have some simple steps to follow, it can be made much easier and more fun to take on, and that’s what this guide is for.
We hope that you have a great time working on this step-by-step guide on how to draw a human heart.
Make This Human Heart Drawing Easier With These Tips
We are about to begin this guide on how to draw a human heart, and as you can see, it is a bit of a tricky drawing. We aimed to make it realistic and detailed, and while it looks good, it can make it more difficult.
In this guide, we will be making it easier by breaking it down, but there are a few things you can do in advance to make it easier. For starters, you could look up some diagrams of human hearts.
You will find plenty online, and many of them will even have labels for the different parts if you would like to add that to your drawing. Either way, having additional drawings to consult will help you as you draw.
Another way to potentially make the drawing easier would be to alter the style a bit. This should be done if you give the drawing a go and find that you just can’t seem to do it.
We always encourage challenging yourself, but there’s no shame in realizing that something isn’t in your skillset. If you find yourself in this position, then you could remove some of the details and make it more cartoony.
If you would like to maintain the design as it is, then we would recommend acquiring a set of drawing pencils. Using them, you could do each step with a light pencil before committing to pen.
This way, you can try as many times as you need and then erase anything that doesn’t look how you want it. Planning a tough drawing is one of the best ways to make it easier.
With these tips in mind, hopefully you will find this drawing a bit easier to take on!
How to Draw A Human Heart – Let’s Get Started!
For this first step of our guide on how to draw a human heart, we will start with some outlines for the heart. We will start with the aorta, which is the pipe-like part at the top of the heart.
Use some curved lines for this aorta with a small oval shape at the tip of it. This will then be connected to a rounded shape beneath it, with a curved line on the left-hand side of it.
Once you have that part drawn, you could use another rounded line for the body of the heart beneath it. You have replicated the lines in our reference image, you’re ready for step 2!
How to Draw a Fireplace
I have prepared a new lesson for you in which you will learn how to draw a fireplace. This is a large indoor stove that has an open firebox. The fireplace is made in the form of a niche in the wall.
The fireplace has a portal, firebox, and chimney. The portal is the front part decorated with decor. The firebox is a chamber in which fuel is burned. The chimney is a vertical flue pipe.
In the picture, you can see a brick portal and a furnace in which a fire is burning. You will draw these elements now. The tutorial consists of a few simple steps and is adapted for aspiring artists. I am sure that you will easily complete this assignment.
You can use the acquired skills in the future when you want to portray any room. The fireplace will be able to decorate the interior and get a beautiful drawing.

How to Draw a Fireplace
-
Draw the upper part of the portal. Using straight lines, sketch out a long rectangle.
Start drawing the narrow section. Using straight lines draw a trapezoid-like shape.
Depict the main part of the portal. Add straight lines to make a large square.
Add the bottom of the portal. Repeat the first step of the lesson at the bottom of the picture.
Sketch out the firebox. Draw two vertical lines and connect them in the shape of an arch.
Depict the flame. Use a few freeform lines to draw the flames.
Detail the flame. Add a few more lines to define the border where the color of the flame will differ.
Draw the texture of the brick. Depict some long horizontal lines and short vertical lines between them to create the brickwork.
Color the fireplace. Use shades of brown for the portal, paint the firebox gray, paint the flame yellow and orange.
