Lovebirds Studio unveiled its latest Spring Summer collection through a runway presentation titled ‘Space in Between’ at the Australian High Commission in New Delhi. It was an amalgamation of contemporary art, design, and culture; making it an immersive experience that the brand has always taken pride in.
The designer duo behind Lovebirds, Gursi Singh and Amrita Khanna said, “Over the years, we have stopped seeking tangible goals and have focused purely on pushing our creative threshold.

One way to do so was to amalgamate design with art and intuition and expand on what it truly means to co-create. This new collection is a conversation on art that is intentional, designs that are born from harmony and juxtaposition, and lastly, collaboration.”

Their latest collection drew inspiration from life and its nuances and elements of nature intertwined with a sense of nostalgia. It got inspired from architecture, geometry, and clean lines that have been an intrinsic part of Lovebird’s aesthetic and design process. It was equal parts whimsical as was practical and highlighted the four posters of the brand – design-led, modern, norm-breaking, and timeless.

The collection featured a wide array of fabrics, the highlight being Woolmark-sourced ‘Australian cool wool’ and others such as cotton, handwoven linen, denim, and silk crepe. Sustainably sourced and produced, this line features classic dresses, co-ord sets, and separates in the prominent floral motif (made in patchwork), terrazzo, hand-drawn landscapes, the Lovebirds signature stripes, and graphic lines. Designed for the consciously driven, modern independent woman; this collection was cosmopolitan and ageless. The colour scheme was bright and elevated.

Vineet Sharma, Vice President Marketing, South Asia, AB InBev added, “We launched Budweiser Magnum Double Barrel whiskey last year to cater to today’s consumer – those who shatter perceptions to “Make New Happen”. A true collaboration between cultures and countries, the liquid is a superior quality blended American whiskey, energizing the current category codes by catering to both women as well as men. This shared ethos of breaking norms, makes the partnership between Lovebirds and Magnum Double Barrel truly special. Founder Amrita Khanna, exemplifies the contemporary woman that the whiskey caters to, and we are stoked to partner with a brand that celebrates and champions inclusivity, functionality, timelessness over trends, while being relevant, playful with each piece, collection.”

Step 2.

You will tackle this tutorial one bird at a time. Start with the bird to the left by sketching out the shape of the head, and the clawed shape of the beak.

Step 3.

Now you will add an eye which is round in shape, and then color in the pupil. Next, draw in a chubby cheek, and then finish drawing out the beak by drawing a jagged line to the face of the bird. Next, move to step four.

Step 4.

You can start sketching out the lovebird to the right and as you can see the head is blended in with the other bird because they are in love. Draw the closed eye, and then draw in the beak and cheek line like so.
