Blue flower painting done in acrylic medium

So this is my end-of-summer painting where I insisted on blue flowers. And not just any, but Daisies and Zinnias. I have been thinking for a long time about fabric design. Like for 50 years. ha ha. I think this painting gave me some ideas and hopefully I can speed up the time between the painting and taking action in that direction.

This is an attempt to see and feel what is present in everything and unites everything around. And I feel part of something great and I am no longer alone and feel real Love and Beauty, which manifests itself in everything that surrounds me. This is what I try to convey in my works.

I love what you’ve created and what you say. Apparently soil affects colours. So Hydrangeas will only produce blue flowers in the right soil. I do love real blue flowers, but not the dyed blue roses so many people love. Currently we are buying Irises that are on the edge of blue and purple. More blue really some days. I am not a fan or purple, but I love it in those beauties. Love your work. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara

Thanks Barbara. <3
I love the deepness of purple lupins and iris. It heralds a Nova Scotia spring for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCY3uCNkEoc

Tried out some wet felting today. The roving is from sheep, musk ox and wolf. The kitty was not impressed with the smell when I got home. Thanks to teacher @warmlywoven #feltingwool

The days are shorter, cooler and the garden is laying down its leaves and plants in preparation for winter.
