When seeking some unusual places on the Earth to make my new collection of wonders of the world I found out about the beautiful Moraine Lake and mountains and I was in love with the place!
I spent several weeks exploring the place and its history, I tried to get deeper into nature and its power.
Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park in Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 1,884 meters (6,181 ft). The lake has a surface area of 50 hectares (120 acres).
So, It became my first work for the project “Wonders of the world” which you’ll see soon here.
I did some sketches and tried different seasons before this variant of the view become the painting artwork.
The picture was getting birth during a month.

Marina Kaverinskih is an artist and psychic reader. She makes her paintings on canvas with acrylics, a bright and environmentally friendly medium. Some of her paintings are accompanied by healing meditation. When creating a picture for a person, she takes into account their own life situation, beliefs, and the structure of their body’s energy.
After graduating from art school and working for 15 years in the interior design field, she began studying ancient spiritual practices, radiant and theta healing, performing it at a professional level for over 9 years.
Now, these skills allow her to bring positive vibrations into her artworks to make them more peaceful. She has her own studio in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she paints every day.

Inspiration
This painting is inspired by the Yosemite Mirror Lake – a small lake located on Tenaya Creek in Yosemite National Park. Situated directly between North Dome and Half Dome, it is the last remnant of a large glacial lake that once filled most of Yosemite Valley at the end of the last Ice Age, and is close to disappearing due to sediment accumulation.
About the Artwork
This painting is landscape artwork painted in impressionistic style similar to other ones in the series of landscapes. Bhavna chose to paint this early evening scene in pink hues. The chosen palette is brighter and sharper as observed by the artist, not as was.
The rich brushstrokes are loaded with paint and movement to offer a delightful viewing experience.
About the Artist
Bhavna is a San Francisco based independent artist and an art educator trying to make a difference through her passion for arts and love for the nature. She is an engineer by training who quit her full-time job to pursue her lifelong dream of artmaking.
Her dedication to her work and hardwork started to pay off as she received acceptance into juried shows and was invited to hold solo shows.
Her story was published in Ideal Home and Gardens, Siliconeer, and Art Ascent . Her work has appeared in multiple newspapers, magazines, and on newsletter covers.
She regularly shows her work in group and solo shows and also offers workshops and live demonstration in private and corporate settings.
