Painting with a twist family event

You’ll find fun, free things to see while walking The Strip with the family. With shows throughout the afternoon and evening, the Fountains of Bellagio create a choreographed spectacle of water, music, and light. Step inside the Bellagio and check out the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens with its specially designed holiday and seasonal floral displays. At night, get a good spot to watch the Mirage Volcano which erupts with thunderous explosions and riveting music by the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart and Indian tabla percussionist Zakir Hussain.

Wood Wednesday – Baby It’s Cold

Please call before attending any community events to make sure they aren’t postponed or canceled as a result of the coronavirus. You can find CDC coronavirus information at cdc.gov/coronavirus; AARP has additional resources at aarp.org/coronavirus.

Sip. Paint. Relax. Doors will open 15 minutes before the class start time to get uncorked, smocked & in your seat! Please note that we cannot allow painters arriving more than 15 minutes late to participate in the class. It is a distraction to other customers and it will take away from your own painting experience. If you’re coming with others, but making reservations separately, give us your group’s name or point person in the Special Request box. We’ll seat you together!

We are a BYOB so you are welcome to bring your favorite beverage. BEER & WINE ONLY!

PAYMENT POLICY: Payment online or via phone is required to guarantee your reservation. If you choose to not pay online, please call the studio at 470-294-2926 to pay by phone.

48 hrs or more notice to cancel attendance = Full Refund

48 hours – 4 hours notice to cancel attendance = Option 1 or 2 will apply:

1) All events where the surface has been prepared in advance (Pre-Sketched) – Guests will receive a Twist at Home Kit for pickup at the next pickup date. No credit or refund – no exceptions.

2) All events where the surface did not need preparation in advance – No refund – a 2 month credit will be issued.

4 hours or less notice to cancel attendance = No refund / no credit

Note, all cancellation policies still apply to guests registered 48hrs or less to scheduled class time. Please leave a message if you are unable to speak to someone at the time of your call as our calls are all date and time stamped.

Observers, Infants, & under-aged children are NOT ALLOWED. Everyone must be a paid participant to attend a paint party. Painting with a Twist reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunded or provided a store credit.

Outdoor Activities

Kid-Friendly Pools

Pool season is in full swing and that means fun for the whole family, especially at The Tank, the pool at the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas. It’s family-friendly, and the kids will love the slide into the pool that safely passes through an aquarium filled with five species of sharks. If sharks sound too scary, be sure to check out Circus Circus Hotel and Casino’s splash zone and pool, including a 50ft slide tower with three different slides!

Lion Habitat Ranch

For an off The Strip animal adventure in Henderson, check out the Lion Habitat Ranch, an African lion sanctuary offering trainer tours, a painting giraffe, and special events.

Springs Preserve

You’ve hit the family adventure goldmine with the Springs Preserve. Located a few miles off-Strip, kids will fall in love with the 180-acres of botanical gardens, walking trails, wildlife habitats, museums and much more. Home to the largest collection of Mojave Desert cacti and plants, a variety of wetland bird species, and desert creatures, a seasonal butterfly pavilion, and rotating exhibits, you’ll get a look into the vibrant history of how Las Vegas came to be the phenomenal city it is today.

Shows and Events

Kid-friendly Shows

Las Vegas isn’t called the Entertainment Capital of the World for no reason. There’s a show for everyone, including ones to wow the kiddos. Cheer on your knight and eat with your hands at Excalibur’s Tournament of Kings. Watch their eyes widen as they take in all the sights at Mystère by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island. Boogie in the aisles with the slick moves of the Jabbawockeez at MGM Grand. The kids (and adults) won’t believe their eyes with the magic of America’s Got Talent winner, Mat Franco. Whichever show you choose, the kids will always remember.
