Inspiration
Inspired by the California’s colorful sky of Fall, Misra attempted to paint as many hues as her naked eyes could see. Hope the viewer enjoys it. The brushwork is strong, loaded with paint, and rich with movement.
About the Artwork
This painting is landscape artwork painted in impressionistic style similar to other ones in the series of landscapes. Misra chose to paint this evening scene in warm golden light. The chosen palette is brighter and sharper as observed by the artist, not as actually was.
About the Artist
Bhavna is a San Francisco based independent artist and an art educator trying to make a difference through her passion for arts and love for teaching.
An engineer by training, she quit her nine-to-five job to pursue her lifelong dream of artmaking and sharing whatever little she’s learnt during her journey.
She regularly shows her work in group and solo shows and also offers workshops and live demonstration for art organizations as well as in in private and corporate settings.
