This is a very simple project and an extra fast one. But very rewarding. I really made cool stuff after managing to finish this instructable. You can do too.
I thought I could paint my tropical island master piece on a piece of wood with wood burning using a magnifying glass lens. This was very simple ,easy and interesting.

Step 2: Setup
Pick a painting of your choice. Any thing you like. I ‘ve chosen a tropical island paint of my own that represents the famous Langkawi Island.
I recommend drawing your painting on paper first to get the best picture you like.
You don’t need to be a great painter to do this.
Try bold and free lines.
Put your thoughts in this.
Don’t be afraid to try.
You can also choose any picture you like . Even you can choose an image from internet , print it and move it on the piece of wood.
You can draw it on wood yourself or copy it using carbon paper.
Since I ‘ve drawn the painting myself I’ve chosen to move it without carbon paper using only the pencil.
I you make any mistakes don’t worry. You can fix them with wood burning on the piece of wood.
Don’t use rubber on wood. It would make it look ugly and black.
Feel free to try and have fun.

Dan Attoe has been exhibiting painting, sculpture and performance since graduating in 2004 with an MFA from the University of Iowa. He is most known for his paintings of natural scenes that uniquely combine landscape painting with genre painting; these scenes are inhabited by small human intruders who disrupt the grandiosity of their settings. This distinctive combination of two categories of fine art painting draw attention to the estrangement that man feels with nature. Attoe achieves this effect by highlighting the tendency of humans to focus on the mundane and inconsequential aspects of life while simultaneously ignoring the natural wonders that are directly in front of them.
His later body of work continues to reflect his particular interest with the absurdity of modern life. Attoe’s neon drawings continue to convey the humorous critique on the monotony of everyday life present in his earlier bodies of work. The accompanying phrases under each piece contextualize the illuminated figures.
Recent solo exhibitions were held at The Hole, Western Exhibitions in Chicago and Peres Projects, Berlin. Interesting group shows include many museums around the world from Astrup Fernley Museum in Oslo, to the ICA in Portland, Maine; the DESTE museum in Athens to the Schirn Kunstalle in Frankfurt.
