Vehicle Paints
In Hill Climb Racing 2, you have the opportunity to change the looks of your vehicles with many paints and wheels.
These can be obtained in different ways, such as earning them from chests, purchasing offers from the shop for real-world currency, or earning them from public events. Paints and wheels are assigned to different levels of rarity, being Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary (like Tuning Parts), which are all displayed by their corresponding background colors: black (owned by default), silver, gold, purple, and blue. Legendary paints can be obtained by purchasing paint bundles or special offers from the Shop, or winning it from Public Events.
There are some Public Events that give you one or more Vehicle Paints:
- Rewards from Halloween events (Held in October/November) are free as event rewards. Only so many paints will be given as rewards, so it will be necessary to wait until the next year, when other paints could be available. During every new Halloween event, a new exclusive paint is offered by Fingersoft (With a 24h Flash Sale). Approximate time period of Halloween events: 1 or 2 Weeks, around Halloween day (October 31st).
- Rewards of the Christmas/Winter events (Held in December) are free as event rewards. Only so many paints will be given as rewards, so it will be necessary to wait until the next year, when other paints could be available. During every new Christmas/Winter event, a new exclusive paint is offered by Fingersoft (With a 24h Flash Sale). Approximate time period of Winter Events: 1 or 2 Weeks, December 1st – December 31st.
- Rewards of the Chinese New Year Event (Held in February) are free as event rewards. Only so many paints will be given as rewards, so it will be necessary to wait until the next year, when other paints could be available. During every new Chinese New Year event, a new exclusive paint is offered by Fingersoft (With a 24h Flash Sale). Approximate time period of the Chinese New Year events: 1 Week, Week of Chinese New Year day (February 17th).
- In Soapbox Downhill Public Events, The vehicle Soapbox and all of its paints can be used for free. Each time the events tab is opened, a new random combination of 4 different paints and 3 different wheels become the paint for the Soapbox.
The customization screen can be accessed by tapping the ‘Looks’ button on the top-right side of vehicle selection screen.
Note: Changing the Tractor and Superbike paint will change the wheels too. For Chopper (unless you equip the Ghostrider, Survivor, Steel Stallion or VIP paints) and Dune Buggy (unless you equip the Carlock paint), you’re able to change the rear wheel only.
Season 19
Jeep has been in a league of its own for many years but that’s not the case anymore. With the new competition entering the field Matt and Bruno will show what makes the Jeep unique, will outfitting it for a local dealer. They also touch up a Tahoe with rough paint, for better resale.
Bronco Options
Today the focus is on the Ford Bronco. Matt and Bruno will show some of the great options available to make a bronco uniquely yours. They take this stock Outer Banks and make it stand out in a crowd with just a few common upgrades.
Keep It Shifting
Ram trucks are a powerhouse in the world of towing where reliability is key. Unfortunately, one place they fall short is the transmissions. Today, Matt and Bruno deep dive in to the 68RFE transmission and replace this one with a new bullet-proofed transmission.
