We applaud this recommendation and not because we’re slightly biased. Honestly, we can’t think of much else that combines art and creativity, wine, music, relaxation, and bonding with loved ones quite like a painting class!
We recommend painting classes for many reasons, and holidays like Valentine’s Day is one of the top ones!
When you take a painting class, you’re doing something different and putting your creative side (yes everyone has one) to good use as you get in touch with your inner-artist and make a masterpiece you can always treasure. We know that some people are physically seeing one another, and so for those of you, our in-studio classes are perfect! We’ve limited the seating in the studio and are taking all of the necessary precautions for following safety guidelines; We’re also making sure to give the studio a good disinfecting, often.

We’ve adapted to the virtual side of things very nicely and have been running these classes since March. People love the option of making some art while they’re stuck at home; It’s nice to have a way to unwind and get creative, and who couldn’t use more relaxing activities these days? Buy a bunch of classes for yourself to do during the day when you’re bored or at the end of a long one to de-stress. Buy some for you and some for friends so everyone can make art together – you guys can even Zoom or FaceTime with one another as you all paint the same things and have a blast making memories.

Love Birds All Ages Painting Event
For those of you who want to try something unique and pass the time in a creative way, we bring you the Virtual Paint Sesh! Join our interactive online painting class and create your own version of “Love Birds” with The Paint Sesh. Our instructor/entertainer will guide you through approx. 1.5 – 2 hours of lively creativity and laughs! No experience needed to have a good time. Let’s be honest we could all use some much needed art therapy. So sit back, relax and enjoy some painting fun from the comfort of your own home. And remember: home is where the art is.

Tip from The Paint Sesh:
Our stream will be up at least 30 minutes prior to the event, so log in at least 15 minutes prior to the event to make sure you’re ready to paint at the start time

1. Computer / Laptop or Mobile Viewing Device: Whichever you prefer, we suggest a larger device.
2. Painting Surface: We recommend a 11×14 but you can really paint at any size or on any surface you’d prefer.
3. Acrylic Paint Recommended
4. Paint Brushes: A larger brush 3/4″ to 1″ wide, a narrow brush to paint details and a small brush to paint thin lines.
5. Palette: Paper plates work just fine.
6. Water Cup: Plastic cup or one that you don’t mind getting covered in paint.
7. Paper Towels: or old rag for cleaning the brushes
8. A Pencil or piece of Chalk for sketching things out.
Optional Supplies: Apron, Easel & Table Cloth or Newspaper to cover your workspace.

I’ve never painted before. Is that ok?
YES! Our painting classes were designed for beginners, and enjoyed by everyone. Most customers that attend our painting events have never picked up a paint brush. You won’t be alone! Our funstructor will be there to guide you, giving you instructions while you’re painting your masterpiece. Don’t feel like you have to follow along though. We love it when you embrace your free-spirit creativity while you go rogue with your painting!
Should I Book in advance?
Due to limited seating for each event we strongly suggest booking sooner rather than later, so you can secure your seat!
What is a virtual painting event?
These Painting Events are held through an online streaming platform (Zoom or Twitch) and guided by one of our talented painting instructors. You provide the painting supplies, we provide the instruction & fun!
Where’s my ticket email with the Zoom link?
The ticket email with the Zoom Link goes out right after you purcahse your ticket. Double check you Spam, Promotions, or Social folder. Sometimes it likes to hide there. Still don’t see it? Double check that your email is correct in your Order Confirmation email. (The email that was used during checkout is where your emails get sent.)
How do I view the virtual session?
- Make sure you have the Zoom application downloaded to your viewing device.
- After signing up for the event on our website, you will receive a ticket email with a join link. On the day of the event, just click the join link and you’ll be automatically connected.
Is there a recording that I can watch at a later date?
At this time we do not offer recordings. All the events start live at the time scheduled and can only be viewd if joined at the live start time.
I already bought my ticket but can’t make it, can I get a refund or transfer?
Our virtual event are non-transferable and non-refundable since at the time of purchase you are sent the join link. Thank you for understanding. If you can’t make it we suggest gifting it to a friend.
What you need:

– Valentine’s Day themed balloons
First things first, you’re going to want to choose your color palette. COLORSHOT Stiletto, Cosmo, Farmer’s Daughter and Marshmallow make a lovely traditional Valentine’s Day palette, but feel free to experiment and have fun with it! Maybe you’re throwing an anti-Valentine’s Day party with shades of black (we see your red heart and we want it painted black . ). Whatever colors you choose, they’re going to look amazing.
Have you ever thought of spray painting balloons? The result is so fab, and it’s such an easy, affordable way to add vibrant pops of color and coordinate your decor with your overall theme.
Speaking of coordinating your decor to your theme . how about matching your chairs to your balloons?! We are so loving this ombre effect Beijos created throughout their entire party, even down to the cuisine! The great thing about spray painting your decor is that you can be sure it totally matches. (Isn’t it annoying when your shades don’t match exactly? Or is that just us?)
Isn’t this the most heart-pounding, stunning shade of red you’ve ever seen? So perfect for a chair, if we do say so ourselves.
Of course, Farmer’s Daughter is just as perfect. Basically all COLORSHOT colors are. You can make your chairs all one color or you can make each one a different color like Beijos did. (We’re digging their use of LOTS of color!)
Let’s talk table settings for a sec. How beautiful are these place settings? You can add floral centerpieces, matching candies and even stemware in your color palette.
Tip: Don’t spend top dollar on dinner chargers . head to the dollar store instead and pick up what you need, then spray paint them to enhance your table settings! For a pretty shade of gold, try COLORSHOT First Million or Treasure Chest for a brighter yellow gold.
