Cloud Step by Step Drawing for Kids
Kids, learn how to draw the Cloud by following the steps below.
This is the simplest form of drawing a cloud picture. Draw a curved line, curving upwards right.
Step:2
Draw another curve starting from the ending point of the previous curve. Make sure this curve is slightly more tilted towards right.
Step:3
Starting from the endpoint of this curve, draw a semi circle.
Step:4
Starting from the endpoint of this semicircle, draw an another semicircle downwards right.
Step:5
Draw another small curve from the ending of the previous semicircle.
Step:6
Draw two consecutive curves, each curving downwards and the final curve connecting to the starting point of the first curve of the drawing.
Step:7
And now your cloud drawing is ready for colouring.

It does not take a lot of effort to draw some clouds. Just take a pencil and get on with it. However, I know that some of you perform better when you are given proper guidance. So for that, I will give you a quick guide on how to draw clouds easily.
Take a pencil and quickly draw a few curves. Follow it up with some more curves and lines before you can start coloring.
Start with some curves
Draw a line of curves for the lower side of the clouds.
Bring it around
Complete drawing the first cloud.
Time for a larger one
We will now draw a larger crowd beside the first one.
Make it fluffy
The cloud is big and fluffy.
One more cloud
The third cloud is the farthest back.
Keep it small
The cloud at the back is the smallest.
Add some layers
Draw a few lines inside the clouds.
Keep it going
Add some more lines.
Almost done
Just a couple of more steps.
Final touches
Use a dark pencil to add the final details.
Coloring time
Time to give your clouds some nice color shades.

How to Draw a Thunderstorm Cloud?
Step 1 Draw an open semicircle for the top of the cloud.
Step 2 Another small curved line is drawn cutting the above one, to extend the region of the cloud.
Step 3 Another small curved line is drawn in the opposite side to make the cloud look fluffy.
Step 4 A series of connected curved lines are drawn to form the base of the cloud from one side which continues upto the other side.
Side 5 Erase the lines where the clouds overlap.
Step 6 Now we try to increase the texture of the cloud. We will draw several curved lines within the cloud to give a fluffy appearance and also form some spirals.
Step 7 Now draw stretched Z shaped lightnings below the base of the cloud to complete your drawing.
How to Draw a Mushroom Cloud?
Step 1 First draw a large egg shaped figure for top of the cloud and beneath it draw another small egg shape. Connect both the figure by a long vertical line passing through the middle of them and draw a horizontal to intersect the vertical line near about at the middle.
Step 2 Following the circular outline, draw a series of curved connected lines to form a tree like structure both at the top and below. These are connected by concave lens kind of shape.
Step 3 In this step we will draw more cloud shapes in the larger cloud at the top to make it look fluffy. A big ring is drawn around the concave structure. And in the lower shape we draw small series of curves.
Step 4 Draw more cloud lines inside the larger cloud to complete the shape. Draw another small ring inside the larger ring. Draw a number of curved lines at the bottom of the concave structure. Erase all the outlines.
Step 5 This is the final picture of the mushroom cloud.
How to Paint a Cloud?
Step 1 Use three different blue color scales for the foundation.
Step 2 Draw some big dots and circles
Step 3 Use oil painting to create smoothness.
Step 4 Detailing of the clouds is done using the brush.
Step 5 Some random white dots and lines are drawn for a better finish.
