Golden Wings
Not only are butterflies incredibly beautiful but I love everything butterflies represent – new beginnings, spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope and life.
My wish is for whoever buys this painting to be reminded that although change can be scary it can also be liberating and rewarding – after all there wouldn’t be any butterflies without the change they go through to get there!
The combination of the gold leaf and navy glitter on the butterfly wings is so beautiful and makes the gold really shine. I mix all my glitter with my secret magic potion so it never sheds – I literally paint it on dab by dab which takes forever, but the end result is stunning – look out of the little hearts in the wing pattern, I had so much fun designing them.
This piece is absolutely perfect for a special Valentine’s Day gift for someone you love, but also as a gift for ‘you’.
