This step is easy just paint the Canvas black. (Make sure you paint the edges as well :P) Then leave to dry.

Use the masking tape to cover the areas you wanted to keep black. I made a template if that helps.

Step 3: Create the Night!

Using various colours create the night sky. I used blues and reds but you can use any colours that you want.

Check out the video for how i put it together 🙂 I added a mountain at the bottom to add a sense of place and contrast but this isn’t necessary.

Step 4: Windows!

To make the windows stand out use some white paint and dry brush around the edges. You want very little paint on your brush when doing this because you want to just edge the windows.
