This event will take place in person at the City Island Library. Origami – the art of paper folding – originated in southeast Asia, and has been used for both ceremonial and recreational purposes for over 1,000 years. According to numerous experts, origami is both mentally and physically therapeutic because it “engages the mind, cultivates concentration, and develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.” Plus, it’s fun!

This event will take place in person at Throg’s Neck Library. Join the Throg’s Neck Library Children’s staff for an educational and interactive S.T.E.A.M.
