There are many options available to customise your party experience.
We include ALL of the supplies needed. Daytime or evening, midweek or weekend . Choose from the style of event – step by step, painty by number, colouring in canvas, combine a few or do something new!
We can even design a CUSTOM painting for your event! Individual paintings for each guest to take home, or group canvas for the guest of honour.
We can help with venue sourcing: Whether it be one of our partner restaurants, cafe’s or bars or a private function room/hall in a non food venue. We can also arrange catering, party favours, art based games, and celebration cake! (additional costs apply!)

Choose an artwork that all your guests will love
Paint and sip classes in Canberra offer a whole range of artworks. Don’t just pick the first one you see, but rather, spend some time browsing through the many options on offer and have a think about which artworks will suit your event and guests the best. You might choose to poll your guests to find out their favourite pick or surprise them with something ultra-fabulous!
From Van Gogh’s Starry Night to the striking aurora borealis to a customised pet portrait, the options are endless. If you can’t find an artwork you love, you can always reach out to your paint and sip studio or teacher to see if they can create a custom masterpiece just for you! Plus, you and your guests can always paint a unique rendition of the example artwork that the teacher creates on the night.
Book ahead and choose a date and time that suits the majority of your guests
Paint and sip parties in Canberra can be such a fun day out with your friends so it’s essential to make sure everyone can make it! Whether you’re organising an intimate hens party, rallying the troops in the office or arranging a big birthday celebration, your best option is booking in early to ensure as many of your invitees can come along.
Be sure to provide details like what artwork they’ll be painting (or choose to keep it a surprise!) and give yourself time to hear back about any dietary requirements and special requests. All of this information will help you and your guests plan the night out ahead of time so that you can all look forward to getting stuck into some painting fun!
You’ll also want to decide on a venue for the event, whether you choose one of the many paint and sip studios in Canberra or decide to set up at your own home or another venue of choice. Many of our painting teachers are mobile, so as long as you bring the basics like tables and chairs, they’ll cover all of the art supplies.
Organise the ‘sipping’ part of the event
Painting is only one part of paint and sip classes, so it’s important you’re prepared to take care of the sipping! Whether you’re providing wine and nibbles for your guests or they are bringing along their own, it’s important to make sure you’ve arranged this with them. While these art classes for adults don’t require food or drink, having plenty of beverages and snacks on hand is always great for those times when hunger strikes (and it will) or the creative juices dry up.
If you really want to impress your guests, it’s good practice to have some nibbles on hand for when they arrive at the studio. There’s nothing like a hearty snack (and some wine!) to get everyone in the mood and create a relaxed environment that’s perfect for painting away the evening. While many paint and sip studios in Canberra will provide their own supplies, you can always bring along some extra nibbles or snacks to really make sure your guests are well taken care of!
